Use crisp kicks with a smooth low end, snappy snares or claps placed on the backbeat, and hi-hats that are sparse and rhythmically interesting but not overly busy. This creates a groove that feels natural and organic. Avoid overly aggressive trap-style hi-hats and 808s; instead, choose drum sounds that blend softly with the rest of the instrumentation. ## Synth and Preset Selection Analog synths and pads are essential to building the rich sonic environment found in Brent Faiyaz's music. Producers like Oluwi offer free Analog Lab presets designed to achieve these textures, which include warm pads, soft bells, and ambient soundscapes. These synth layers should be mixed to feel immersive yet subtle, allowing space for vocal melodies. ## Arrangement Tips for Emotional Impact Structure your beat to allow breathing space and dynamic shifts. Typical sections include a smooth intro, a mellow verse, and a slightly more intense chorus with additional layers like background vocals or synth swells. Use repetition wisely to create hypnotic moods but introduce small variations to keep the listener engaged. The beat "Gone By Morning" by prodbyoluwi exemplifies these principles with its blend of melancholic melodies and rhythmical consistency. ## Where to Access Brent Faiyaz Type Beats and Resources Producers can purchase high-quality Brent Faiyaz type beats like "Gone By Morning" from platforms linked by creators such as prodbyoluwi.
